"For me, this mascara is best at 2 coats. I find that if I try to keep building I get gloppy lashes. I don’t have amazing lashes naturally. They are thin and barely colored. But they are fairly long and evenly distributed. It may work better for different lash types (like any hair product). That being said it wears well, removes fully, does not irritate, has a more natural look, and I love travel sizes because fresh mascara is a must!"
"The Volumizing Peptide Mascara is stellar and I feel as it has made a difference. As I age, my lashes seem to be smaller, weaker, and the natural color has faded. The mascara gives me my lashes back to an extent. My eye color is labeled Hazel, but they are more blue-green with very little tan-brown. After watching the wonderful tutorial and learning that wearing black mascara was an eye opener, I discovered that it does. Literally! The rating of 4 stars is related to the wand/brush size. I wish it was smaller in size which would make it easier to apply to these aging lashes. I have to do quite a bit of damage control following application every use."

"I want to love it because I love all RMS products, but it just doesn't work well for me. The first few applications are fine, but after that it turns messy and not easy to apply for me. Once it is on, it seems to wear pretty well without flaking. Though in the Florida heat, it does sometime smudge."
